Colliers Donates 130+ Toys to Children in TIES CNC Program
The Immigrant Education Society (TIES) would like to gratefully acknowledge the whole team at Colliers’ Calgary office for their very generous gift of 130+ toys for the children in the Care for Newcomer Children (CNC) Program at TIES. In the giving spirit of the holiday season, Colliers’ suburban office leasing division organized a Secret Santa gift exchange, as they do annually, at their holiday party. The staff buy a toy they would like to give their Secret Santa child recipient. Once all the toys are purchased, Colliers then donates the new toys to pay it forward to a worthy charity for children. With the recommendation of Peter Mayerchak and Jash Sandhu TIES was selected as the charity of choice this year to receive the donated toys from their gift exchange. There were over 100+ employees in their entire office who generously participated in this toy drive. The toys were generously delivered and handed out to all the children in the TIES Care for Newcomer (CNC) childcare program at TIES locations in Whitehorn (NE) and Forest Lawn (SE). The joy on the faces of the children was priceless! Thank you, team Colliers, for bringing so much happiness to these children from new immigrant families. For many of them, this is the first Christmas toy they have ever received. Thank you, Colliers, for making the season so much brighter for so many families.
