What is OST Warehouse / Logistics Training?

Are you looking for a job? Is English your second language? OST Warehouse/Logistics Training can help you find an entry-level job by offering both English and job-specific workplace training.

Students receive language instruction combined with a job-specific training and receive a graduation certificate from TIES upon completion.

Training includes:

  • Job Functions and Procedures in Warehousing
  • Work Environment
  • Health and Safety Rules and Practices
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
  • First Aid, CPR /AED and Medical Emergency Planning
  • Logistics Types and Functions
  • Materials Management and Distribution

In addition to technical skills training, you will also receive a chance to meet employers for workshops, presentations, and mock interviews. Students also receive a FREE monthly bus pass while they are enrolled in class.

Is childcare available?

Students receive up to $500/month per child to purchase childcare services from a licensed facility while they are enrolled in class.
