Newcomer Introduction to Classes Online (NICO)

IMPORTANT NOTE: NICO is currently in its testing phase. Register as a course tester to get early access to the NICO course and help improve program materials for future students! Upon completion of the program, you will receive a “NICO course tester” certificate.

What is NICO?

Do you want to learn how to take online classes? If you are new to e-Learning, trying it for the first time might seem intimidating. NICO is designed to help you!

The NICO program will prepare you for online classes. Online classes offer opportunities to learn English and Employment skills at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home, at the times that work best for you.

NICO covers the following topics:

  • Computer skills
  • Online communication
  • Study skills
  • Vocabulary

Recommended for Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 3 and up

18+ years of age
