Circle of Security is an evidence-based program designed to enhance the bond between parents and their children. This program provides parents with the tools and insights needed to understand their child's emotional needs and improve their own ability to support their child’s growth and development. By fostering a secure attachment, Circle of Security helps create a strong foundation for healthy emotional and social development in children.
Program Details
I always keep in mind to be kind but not weak. I found myself sometimes feeling frustrated with my son, and inturn being too big/strong without kindness. After reading the rest of the handbook, I now trust taking a break/time out is okay for me to do. Then coming back to my son with kindness and strength. Sharing this information with my husband has also allowed us to be on the same page with parenting our son, so there is more consistency in the house; helping him feel more secure. Thank you for making me a happier mom who understands my kids better. I asked my oldest last week if he has noticed any change in my parenting from previous years. He said "Yes mom. You are now calmer, loving, and non-reactive to my melt-downs". A win-win in our house-hold; all thanks to your group we are also having fewer meltdowns from our kids.
