In partnership with the City of Calgary’s Family & Community Support Services (FCSS), the TIES Centre for Immigrant Research is offering FREE in-person workshop series for newcomer families with children and youth who act as interpreters – also known as child language brokering (CLB).

This is a great opportunity to build stronger communication as a family, support your child’s emotional wellbeing, learn practical strategies, and connect with other newcomer families.

This FREE 3-day family workshop series will be held in-person at TIES Westwinds (3675, 63 Avenue NE, Calgary) on October 14, 15, 16 (6:00 – 8:00 pm); and December 2, 3, 4 (6:00 – 8:00 pm).
