UCalgary Global Village Band

Canada’s wide range of musical cultures will be on full display during this performance by the UCalgary Global Village Band. On November 25, allow U of C faculty, alumni, students and guests to take you on a musical journey as they perform global traditional music in the Eckhardt Gramatté Hall. Tickets are $26 for adults, $19 for seniors/students.

Join Wordfest, The Banff Centre’s Literary Arts program, and the Calgary Public Library for the launch of a special issue of Granta, celebrating the diversity of social, political and literary life in Canada. Featuring conversations and readings from Madeleine Thien, Alex Leslie, Lisa Moore & Anakana Schofield. Includes an audience Q&A. 75 minutes, followed by a book signing.
