This National Volunteer Week 2021, our sincere appreciation goes out to all of our generous and dedicated TIES volunteers! Read a message from our CEO, Sally Zhao, below:
On behalf of myself and the entire team at TIES, I wish to take this opportunity during the National Volunteer Week 2021 to express our sincere appreciation to you for volunteering your time, resources, expertise and talents in supporting the Society in our goal to help empower newcomers and financially challenged Canadians find their rightful place in society.
No matter in what capacity you are volunteering at TIES, whether you are on the Board of Directors, volunteering as tutors, or helping as teaching or administrative assistants, you are an integral part of the success of this organization. Your generosity means the world to us and to the people who we serve. Without your dedication and commitment, it would not be possible for TIES to have made such meaningful impact on the lives of over a quarter of million people we have served in our 33 year history, and much more in the years to come.
No words can express our gratitude and appreciation for your gracious and unwavering support! Together, we are moving TIES forward in the best interests of the people and community we serve. For this, I humbly thank you all!
