What is the “Say What?” Pronunciation Class
Are you learning English as a second language? Do you find it difficult to make the sounds of English? For example, is the voiceless “th” consonant sound in the word thing, or the voiced long “e” sound in the word “sleep,” difficult for you to pronounce? In that case, the “Say What?” Pronunciation Class is for you.
This class is for basic language learners who are connected by the same first language or language family background. A volunteer teacher uses pronunciation computer software and paper based exercises to deliver individual and group exercises to the class. These exercises help students improve their English pronunciation skills, and help them to be more confident when they speak English outside of the class in their daily lives.
