How Can We Help?
The Mosaic Refugee Health Clinic provides essential medical care services to newcomers who arrive as refugees. The clinic also provides other health services to refugees as they are needed. To find out more, keep reading this guide.
What is the Mosaic Refugee Health Clinic?
Refugees can use the Mosaic Refugee Health Clinic for their first two years in Canada, or until their refugee claim is processed. Refugees do not need a referral to receive service. The only requirement to attend the Mosaic Refugee Health Clinic is that the patient be a newcomer who arrived in Canada as a refugee.
Mosaic provides primary and multi-specialty care services such as:
- Women’s, children’s, and family health
- Family planning and pregnancy care
- Immunizations
- Annual checkups
- Dental
- Optometry
- Nutrition services
- Mental health
The Mosaic Refugee Health Clinic recommends other health services as needed. For the full list of health services that have staff available to work with newcomers, visit here.
After two years (or sooner), Mosaic will connect patients to a family physician in their community.
