Have you ever watched Canadian football? Have you ever wanted to go to a game but weren’t sure how much it cost or how it’s played?
Now, CIES students and their friends can attend a Calgary Stampeders football game for only $19 per person – that’s almost half the price of a regular ticket! Join us at McMahon Stadium at 6:00 pm on October 13th, 2018 as Calgary plays the BC Lions. The Calgary Stampeders are currently the best team in the Canadian Football League’s Western Division, so you’re in for a treat as both teams go head to head. It will also be Multicultural Night, so you’re invited to wear your home country’s colours, and you can sign up to carry your country’s flag on the field at halftime.
Questions? Aren’t sure how the game is played? Click here for a video explaining the rules of play. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gumZEVzE7I4)
Not sure how to get to McMahon Stadium? It’s easy! Just take the CTrain Red Line to Banff Trail CTrain Station, and follow the pedestrian overpass across Crowchild Trail to McMahon Stadium.
