Employment Skills Training  (EST)      

This program will help participants improve their computer, communication and job searching skills.  It will also enable them to get their foot into labour market.  There will be 3 modules:

    Computer training skills  (May, up to 18 hours, Monday and Wednesday 6-9 PM)

 

-         Introduction to Hardware and Software

-         PowerPoint and Excel

-         Online job searching techniques

-         Internet

 

 Business Communication   (June, up to 18 hours, Saturday 9- 1 PM)

 

-         Business terminologies

-         Conversation skills

-         Presentations

-         Business  meeting

-         Business writing

 

 Job search skills     (July, up to 18 hours, Saturday 9- 1 PM)

 

-         Resume writing

-         Cover letter

-         Job interview

-         Job searching skills

 

 Seminars

Duration:     Up to 60 hours.

Fee:             $ 200                                          Fee subsidized by: C.I.E.S.

Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the training program.
