These awards namely are “best dressed”, “best inspiring person”, “best C.I.E.S. representation”, “best booth”, etc.. These students come from different ethnic backgrounds and this event created a very good experience for them to learn cultural acceptance and harmony, mutual understanding, respect and cooperation, which are valuable experience and knowledge outside of the books. Moreover, the students cooked different kinds of ethnic food and made some crafts for sale on that day for raising funds for our second new building. With all the efforts and enthusiasm from all the participants, especially Eva Su ~ Manager of ESL and Volunteers, we raised an amount of $660 from this function, which will become a regular event in every year!
